Norpro Stainless Steel Butter Melter

Great for melting butter
I bought this pan and the Farberware and am happier with the Farberware little pan. This one is good, but it really can only handle melting butter or a very small amount of liquid - like 1 cup. It heats up quickly and contents tend to want to burn. Handle gets hot. It is great though for melting butter, which is what I wanted, but if you want to mix up a packet of gravy, you will need the slightly larger Farberware.

terrible for the price
This item has no lid and so if you want to heat anything besides butter, it has a wider mouth at the top than its bottom and lets out any ability to heat, water, milk, coffee, etc.
The biggest problem, is that the "pour" design is a POOR design. Try pouring from this thing at any angle or speed and the contents spill all over.
This utensil isn't worth $2.

Nice little pot
I use this pot to melt butter for popcorn or mashed potatoes, to warm gravy or maple syrup. I like its small size and it cleans us easily. It is attractive enough to bring to the table too.
