Pie Iron Set

Great Fun!
I got these pie irons as a way to have fun outdoor dinners with my wife and daughter. We took them camping and had a great time cooking over our fire.

What I especially liked about this set is the 2 shapes of iron and the book that's included, which gives you a great basic understanding of how to cook in them (it's easy), and what other types of iron are available. I haven't used the round iron yet, but the square iron, once heated, produced a pie every 5 minutes or so and fed us all quite nicely.

If you like to go car camping, I'd definitely recommend these. You aren't going to want to walk far with these in a pack, though... they're bulky and heavy so not backcountry material.

Pie Iron Set
I bought this item for my son for Christmas. He loved it and can't wait for warmer weather to try it out. He especially like the fact that there was a cookbook with the set. It has simple recipes that use ingredients you would normally take on a camping trip.

the kids had us order this for their dad for his birthday so they could all enjoy doing them together. they work very well and you can make so many things with them. recipe book is good too
