Hunk of junk - cracks if you drop it
I hate this thing and I hate myself for buying a second when the first one broke.
My son takes a water bottle to school. He dropped it - as little kids will do - and it cracked. It cracked big time. Leaked all over his backpack. I thought perhaps it was a freak thing and it must have landed on a rock or hit at some unique angle. Dummy me bought another. He dropped it the next morning in his carpeted class room (apparently he drops everything) and it cracked again and leaked all over the place.
If it's going to crack when you drop it, what's the point?
its ok but it does leak
At first it didn't leak but after several month's it started to leak .... now I have to put my bottles into a zip lock bag so it doesn't leak all in my lunch bag
.... and if you use anything but water it gets dirty in the top part and it you can't clean it out
Messy -- apparently I need directions or it's a flawed design
3 days ago, I bought the blue, 18oz Intak by Thermos bottle from my local grocery store.... I use it for water, flavored water, and vitamin enriched milk. I .... Well, how to put it nicely? This should have come with directions cause I can't seem to NOT drip liquid out of it. Liquid will actually climb up the straw and eventually spill out of the spout (which is highly surprising since I'm not using any carbonated beverages). I leave the spout up and the bottle sitting on my desk, so when I reach for the bottle to take another sip, liquid dribbles all over my desk and work-papers.
Oh and the straw doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, so there's always a small amount of liquid remaining to get stale and/or create a musty smell, if you don't wash it immediately. [honestly, after an intense workout at the gym, I rush home to shower, not to wash out my bottle, and I'm forgetful enough to fail to do that until the next gym session]
